Day 1

Day one is just a cute thiccc girl sitting by the window. As I’m currently on day 8, looking back I think she’s a bit too thin with that perfect small tum. With some hindsight I can see I was still easing into it. I still like this though and I want more freckled girls in my life.

Day 2

Day two is a beach girl because I want to be at the beach. She’s got some grow out because right now we all know what it’s like to go without hair care, and she’s still really hot. I like that she’s got a bit of squish! I love her.

Day 3

Day Three is my favorite of the ones I’ve done so far. She’s the most like me, in body and setting. Since this whole pandemic thing, I’ve been playing dnd online instead of in person. I even used my own bed as a reference for the angles and stuff. I’ve always been someone who needs to escape to unreality for a little while from time to time, but I think right now we all need it.

You’ll notice all her dnd things are pink, from her dice and dice bag, her binder, pens, even her shirt. This is because I love the unashamed femininity juxtaposed with something that used to be seen as such a boys game. This is one way in which she’s like me as well. All of my dnd stuff is pink. This is one part small rebellian, being very feminine in a traditionally very masculine space- but also it’s a clever way to make sure no one mistakes my dnd stuff for theirs. We’ve all lost pens and dice in the chaos at the table. However I happen to be the only girl in my dnd group so pink is the one color you can bet none of the men I play with will have much of in their game stuff, so I never have to replace dice or pens :P

Day 4

Day four is actually just a chibi self portrait of me! That’s basically what I look like, though I might have made her a bit thinner then I actually am. I’ll have to work on that. This one was a bit faster, and after the complexity of Day three, I needed a little rest.

Day 5

Day five is also one of my favorite. This girl is very unlike me but it was nice to have a fully clothed, less sexualized but undeniably sexy thiccc girl. This one was inspired by all the hot Graffiti girls I have crushes on. There’s this incredibly tall bridge over I-5 with a peice way up there. I don’t know the artist, but it’s very feminine, and I just love the thought that this bad ass graff babe was hiding from the police up there. This was for my artist girls. If you throw up art, I love you.

Day 6

Day six is who I wish I was. I’ve been pretty mesmerized by the hot roller skate girl on tiktok that went viral a few weeks ago. I want nothing more then to be a hot roller skate girl. I wish I was her. A few days after drawing this my roomie surprised me with skates and we tried skating together and she immediately fell and snapped her arm! I love my poor injured roomie. This is when I got back to the style I'm more comfortable with. I like the light skin blush shine thing. I think it’s hot. This was also an exercise in not giving every thiccc girl huge tiddies to make her hourglass. This girl is still defiantly hourglass shaped but she doesn’t have massive anime girl tiddies. The sunglasses were so I wouldn’t have to draw eyes. I think I wanted to roller skate so bad because I’m board in the house because of covid.

Day 7

Day Seven is 100% because I’m really bummed about Pride Parades being canceled. I had big plans for pride this year. For my roomie and I Pride is a month long party. This girl was a practise in steadily getting thiccer, with bigger tummys that are shaped like real tummys! She’s still hot, ofc! I gave her my friends cute haircut because I like it and my friend is hot so it worked out!

Day 8

Day eight here is a cute goth girl who isn’t comfortable wearing jorts and tube tops everywhere like some of the other girls. She was pretty directly inspired by Sailor Moon, with her buns and the moon phase shirt. And, because I miss my cute goth gf. While drawing her I realized I had gotten in the habit of drawing scantily clade girls so I could show their bodys and make them look smaller. I’m going to have to work on that. This one is a bust with a simple background because this was the day my roomie broke her arm and I spent some time at the hospital with her. For now, I’ll be taking care of her so my daily Thiccc girls are going to get a bit less complex. Might even just be line art! who’s to say!

Day 9

Day nine of this project was the first commission I got for this project! The lovely and friendly rufocsd had me paint this pic of her, and she was even lovely enough to let me make her one of my daily thick girls! She was so fun to draw because, as you can she’s very talented with yoga! I really want my daily thiccc girls to be active interesting folk! So this was just perfect.

Day 10

Day 10 is a fanart of one of my favorite twitch streamers Lots Of Lottie, who I think is very Hot. I wanted to include a transgirl for this project because I want all women to see beauty in their bodys. Not just cis women! Lottie was lovely enough to let me draw her too! Make sure you guys check her out on Twitter, and Twitch! She’s a genuine delight. Her community is so wholesome and she just has a wonderful voice to listen too for hours on end. She’s probably my number one source of entertainment for when I’m drawing. 10/10 for her.

Day 11

Day Eleven was a sketchy style because I just had less time! I quickly realized this project wouldn’t be possible to maintain at the same level of detail I was doing before, but I like this style a lot. It feels more *artsy* to me I guess? This is an oc for a project I’m working on, and not yet ready to really ready to talk about publicly. I’ll let you know when it’s ready, don’t you worry!

Day 12

Day twelve is a fanart of Glimmer from the new She-ra! I really liked the end of the series, despite its many, many flaws. From the beginning I loved Glimmer’s design, and I really love the look of Queen Glimmer. As of now, I can’t think of any thiccc magical girls on tv, aside from the characters on this show! I wish this show had been around when I was a kid. It probably would have helped me feel a little less shitty in my own body. Go watch She-ra. It’s silly fun.

Day 13

Day thirteen was another commission! I really love when I get to combine the thicc girl of the day with a commission because then my fun and work is all in one! Today was a portrait of the beautiful scattered_craft! She was one of my favorite patrons to work with so far! Ofcourse, as you can see there’s a sizable watermark. This is to keep people from taking the art for themselves. As the patron of the art, she’s the only one who gets a clean copy!

This was one of the more challenging things I’ve painted, but I really love how it turned out. The color of this pic was challenging to me because I’m not the best at these highly themed color paintings. Color theory is hard okay. All of the colors in this painting are some shade of yellow! And it really sets the mood of a woman reading in front of the window in the bright warm sunlight.I also used a rougher, more painterly style for the shading because I thought it fit the mood better, and I’m glad I did!
